- Rotation: Supported (optional)

Apakah OSx86 Anda terinstall PC_EFI atau Chameleon

kalo ya, berbahagialah
Anda gak perlu lagi install driver/injector (NVInject/NVKush/Natit).
EFI String akan meng-enable dan meregister VGA waktu boot dan proses boot juga lebih cepet.

Afaik dulu susah krn harus mencari GFX String dan edit manual com.apple.Boot.plist
skr semuanya serba mudah dgn bantuan OSX86Tools atau EFIStudio.

Jadi waktu install OSx86, jangan pilih install driver VGA.
atau jika sudah tersintall injector, remove aja.
ikuti langkah² berikut ini:

Download dan jalankan OSX86Tools, klik [Add EFI Strings/Boot Flag]



Klik "GFX Strings", pilih VGA Anda, klik "Import String to Boot Editor"



Klik [Apply changes to com.apple.Boot.plist] lalu restart



Selesai restart, cek di System Profiler > Graphics/Displays
Maka VGA akan dikenali sesuai namanya dgn CI (Core Image) dan QE (Quartz Extreme) supported.

Bandingkan jika menggunakan injector (NVInject) ini



Cek juga di System Preferences > Display

Di OSx86Tools juga ada fasilitas utk mengaktifkan QuartzGL.
klik aja [Enable/Disable] Quartz GL yang ada di pojok kiri atas.

saya punya vga digital alliance geforce 8400 gs 512 mb, dah coba install (berkali-kali, ganti injector berulang2) tetap, ga bisa support qi/ce dan full resolution...

saya baca2 di forum insanely, katanya harus pake nvcap...

apaan tuh? gimana caranya??
ataw ada solusi lain...

saya coba install baru (iAtkos 5i)...., ga pake driver vga, langsung menggunakan EFI String 8400 GS 512 MB....

booting pake -v, pass maw masuk ke graphic mode, harus nunggu sampe 2 menit, baru masuk ke macosx...

system profiler, ngedetek dengan benar, tapi tetap no QE/CI...

kayaknya yang menghambat adalah NVDAResman, saya coba remove, eh langsung langsung masuk ke macosx tanpa lama...., tetapi tetap no QE/CI..., mohon bantuan

Alternatif lain, installl ulang OSX.nya, jangan dulu mencentang driver VGA, biarkan default!
Pasang driver post-install aja! Kenali betul detil RAM GPU.nya, di EFI string (via OSX86Tools) ada pilihan GF 8400GS, atau kalo mau secara custom aja!

ane nemu sedikit masalah, vga di PC make ATI Radeon X1300 256, make monitor LCD Samsung 19", di system profile hardware udah support CI/QE, hanya masalahnya di piihan resolusi display, hanya ada satu pilihan, gak ada pilihan lainnya, buat ngakalinnya gimana ya? ane make distro iAtkos 10.5.5 udah terupdate hingga 10.5.8, thanks alot brother2...

gak make EFI string kang, soale kagak ada di listnya, terus akhirnya nemu kext untuk X1300, NatitX1300.kext, ternyata gagal kang, ga bisa boot, sempat kewalahan juga soale udah update ke 10.5.8 dan instal banyak aplikasi...searching2 nemu deh cara boot dengan menghapus kext Natitnya via sudo -s, hehehe lumayan jadi belajar bahasa terminal...

nah akhirnya nemu juga kext 1300, tanpa natit, bisa dan gak lagi tersendat2 mousnya, hanya saja QE jadi not supported, padahal sebelomnya udah support tapi tersendat2 gitu...untuk DisplayConfigX segera di uji coba, thanks alot kang...

saya udah pake OSx86Tools/EFIStudio, yg ada pkg-nya.
Geforce 6100 32MB.pkg

cuma bisa begini doang si system saya;

- Core Image (CI): Software Accelerated
- Quartz Extreme (QE): not support
- QuartzGL: enable pake OSx86Tools.
- Pilihan resolusi cuma 1024x798 doang.

pake apa lagi ya, biar CI-nya Hardware Accelerated and QE nya Support.
soalnya jalanin screensaver Flurry aja masih putus2. ga bisa lancar.
mohon bantuannya sesepuh...
maklum newbie....

System yang saya pake:
- AMD Athlon64 3000 AM2
- Biostar T-Force 6100 (pake onboard, soalna 7300GT saya ga kedetek)
- Ram 1Gb dual
- Leo4All 10.5.2

Sampai saat ini graphics "nVidia onboard/integrated" belum ada yg berhasil QE/CI. CMIIW.
Kudu pake add-on card (eg. nVidia seri PCIe).

Di SystemProfiler sudah tertera QE=Supported CI=Hardware Accelerated gak?
Kalo sdh muncul berarti ada pilihan resolusi di System Preferences >> Display (1440x900, dll.)

Saya pake GMA950 di GA-945GCMX-S2...
Pake Leo jadi ada artifact nya. Kalo QE/CI sih udah jalan, resolusi juga dah beres. Gimana yah cara ilangin artifactnya itu, lumayan mengganggu nih.

Tadi waktu kopdar ngobrol sama mbah Nero sama siapa yah? lupa ha ha ha.. Katanya bisa diberesin pake EFI string fix.
